2025年6月27日，全国人大会议经表决，免去苗华的中央军委委员职务。

前后不到一个月，也就20多天。
怎么就这么迫不及待呢。清除流毒，到底是清除谁的流毒，
苗华已经被全国人大官宣罢免，有什么不能说的呢。
遮遮掩掩为什么呢？但是何卫东还没有官宣呢，
中共军队内部的通报肯定会说苗华和何卫东名字，就是清除苗华和何卫东流毒。
不至于现在军队内部就开始点名要清除习近平流毒吧。
但是公开报道不但没有点名何卫东，甚至连苗华的名字都不提。
就说明原始的稿子不但包括苗华还包括何卫东。何卫东就是主管政工的军委副主席。
公开报道把苗华和何卫东的名字一起删掉了。

政治工作是解放军的最大特色，也被视为最大优势。军队设置政委、政治部主任，以制衡司令员，保证党对军队的绝对领导。在中央军委会层面，则设置政治工作部（前身为总政治部），主要负责指导解放军的宣传思想文化工作、组织建设，包括评鉴、选拔高级将领。

不过，过去20多年4任政工部（总政）主任，徐才厚、李继耐、张阳、苗华，3个半出事，而且造成2死。李继耐「教子不严」（曾任云南省长助理的儿子李磊被调查），算半个出事，徐才厚落马之后因膀胱癌死亡，张阳死亡。如果说徐才厚、李继耐、张阳属于旧朝，在新时代出掌政工部长达7年的苗华上将被查，影响极为恶劣。
