Hu Chunhua moved into the General Secretary’s office in Yingtai. Qi Xin’s personal physician, Yu Wenming, was investigated; rumors circulated online that Qi Xin had passed away. Peng Liyuan remains missing; the relationship between Peng Liyuan and Yu Wenming. Peng Liyuan’s relationship with Zhou Enlai; Peng Liyuan being a Soviet spy. The Three Gorges Dam, built under the supervision of the Soviet Union.

Hello everyone, rumors circulated online that Xi Jinping’s mother, Qi Xin, had passed away; I don’t know if it’s true or not. She was already so old, 98 years old. Qi Xin was a mistress who rose to power. Back then, Xi Zhongxun married Qi Xin while he was still married to his ex-wife, Hao Mingzhu. Xi Zhongxun’s bigamy lasted for at least six months. However, Qi Xin’s personal physician, Yu Wenming, was indeed arrested. Yu Wenming had a close relationship with Peng Liyuan and also with Liu Yuejin.

Yu Wenming was the director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; why would he be related to Liu Yuejin, an official from the Ministry of Public Security? Liu Yuejin was previously the director of the Narcotics Control Bureau. Drug rehabilitation and doctors are related. They are all in the same system, the narcotics control system. Yu Wenming is the former director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Yu Yanhong is the current director. Both Yu Wenming and Yu Yanhong were Qi Xin’s private health care physicians. Rumors circulated that Qi Xin had left the administration around the same time Yu Wenming was arrested; whether there is a connection between the two is unclear.

Xi Jinping met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, but Peng Liyuan and Cai Qi were not present. These are points that require our attention.

On June 23, 2025, the 12th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in Beijing, focusing on “further deepening economic system reform and promoting Chinese-style modernization.” Vice Premier He Lifeng delivered a report, CPPCC Vice Chairman Hu Chunhua presided over the opening session for the first time, and Wang Huning, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC, attended. This arrangement, amidst rumors of Xi Jinping’s power being diminished and internal party changes, has sparked much interpretation.

First, the details of the meeting reports deserve attention. In his report, He Lifeng mentioned that “the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee emphasized the need to leverage the leading role of economic system reform and coordinate reforms in various fields,” but did not explicitly state whether this included political system reform. He then mentioned studying Xi Jinping’s “new ideas and new viewpoints,” rather than the usual excessive praise. This subtle change in wording may reflect an official effort to avoid overemphasizing personal authority and instead focus on the policies themselves. Combined with recent rumors of Xi Jinping’s health problems and weakened power, this low-key approach may suggest a rebalancing of power dynamics within the top leadership.

Secondly, Hu Chunhua’s first time presiding over the opening session was particularly noteworthy. In the past eleven sessions of the Standing Committee, the presiding duties were mostly handled by Wang Huning or the higher-ranking Shi Taifeng. Hu Chunhua, as the second-ranking vice chairman, had previously maintained a low profile. As Hu Jintao’s designated successor and a representative of the Youth League faction, he had previously avoided danger by keeping a low profile after being removed from the Politburo and demoted to vice chairman of the CPPCC at the 20th CPC National Congress, especially after the incident where Hu Jintao was publicly escorted out of the meeting. However, since the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee last July, Hu Chunhua has gradually made high-profile appearances: publishing a signed article in October 2024, attending an international conference on behalf of Xi Jinping in December, and visiting three African countries and conducting research in Anhui Province this April. These actions contrast with his previous style, seemingly indicating a build-up of momentum.

Particularly noteworthy is that Hu Chunhua did not mention conveying Xi Jinping’s greetings during his visit to Africa, which is quite unusual in diplomatic protocol. Last year, Xi Jinping met with Senegalese President Fayé, and according to convention, greetings should have been mentioned, but neither official reports nor Senegalese media mentioned it. This may suggest that Hu Chunhua’s actions are no longer entirely subject to Xi Jinping’s authority, and may even have received support from higher levels. Hu Chunhua’s recent chairing of a meeting concerning economic reforms further reinforces his “promotion” signal, seemingly paving the way for a possible return of power.

Combined with rumors that Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao are in charge after Xi Jinping’s power weakens, Hu Chunhua’s high profile may benefit from this. If Xi Jinping still holds considerable power, it is hard to imagine him tolerating his “former political rival” pushing through his achievements. The changes in Hu Chunhua’s position are clearly known to the top leadership of the CPPCC. This situation could indeed suggest that the CCP leadership is staging a power redistribution drama, with Hu Chunhua potentially becoming a key figure in this new game.

There are rumors that Hu Chunhua has moved into the General Secretary’s office in Yingtai, Zhongnanhai. This is because Xi Jinping himself said he was forced to work in Chunyizhai, Fengzeyuan. Jin Shanwen, who has strong ties to Hu Chunhua, has been promoted to Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee’s Working Committee for State Organs. Jin Shanwen’s superior in the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Yin Deming, twice served as Hu Chunhua’s subordinate. Yin Deming was initially promoted by Li Keqiang. The Working Committee for State Organs is responsible for Party affairs. While not officially called the “chief secretary,” the position essentially involves secretarial work related to Party affairs. The Secretary of the Working Committee for State Organs is Cai Qi, who is Xi Jinping’s chief secretary for Party affairs.

We don’t know when Cai Qi will be removed from his post. Cai Qi is almost in a similar situation to Dong Jun. Both Cai Qi and Dong Jun are known for their frequent appearances and subsequent restrictions on their movements. Xi Jinping met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong; Wang Yi was present, but Cai Qi was absent. I don’t know when Cai Qi will be removed from his position as Director of the General Office of the Central Committee, but it should be soon. Cai Qi’s deputy has already been replaced by Hu Chunhua’s crony, Kim Sun-moon. It’s unlikely Cai Qi would be immediately sent to Qincheng Prison. Being a member of the Politburo Standing Committee isn’t something that can be easily removed. However, technically speaking, the first step in taking action against Cai Qi would definitely be removing him from his position as Director of the General Office of the Central Committee.

On Sunday (June 22, 2025), the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission of China announced that Yu Wenming is suspected of serious job-related violations and is currently under investigation by the National Supervisory Commission. Yu Wenming is 62 years old, a member of the China Democratic National Construction Association, and joined the workforce in August 1988. He holds a postgraduate degree, a Master of Medicine, and is a researcher. Yu Wenming previously served as Director of the China Center for the Development and Exchange of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology, and in 2004 became Deputy Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2018, he was promoted to Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and stepped down in 2023.

We see that the CCP’s propaganda machine is truly loyal to overseas loyalists; they know the reason, but deliberately omit it. This propaganda website deliberately didn’t mention that Yu Wenming is from Shanxian County, Heze City, Shandong Province, while Peng Liyuan is from Yuncheng County, Heze City. Yu Wenming and Peng Liyuan are from the same prefecture-level city.

The second commonality between Yu Wenming and Peng Liyuan is that they both belong to the United Front system. Yu Wenming once served as the full-time vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, promoted by Xi Jinping. Peng Liyuan once served as the vice chairman of the All-China Youth Federation. The correct name for the All-China Youth Federation is the United Front Work Department of the Communist Youth League.

First, we need to discuss Peng Liyuan’s background.

In 1980, an opportunity arose when Peng Liyuan represented Shandong Province in a folk song competition in Beijing, where she was spotted by dancer Zhao Qing. Zhao Qing, from Feicheng, Shandong, is the daughter of the famous actress Zhao Dan, a principal dancer at the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater, had a close relationship with Zhou Enlai, and served as the vice chairman of the China Dancers Association, holding a certain position in the arts.

Zhao Qing liked Peng Liyuan and intended to cultivate her. Peng Liyuan immediately kowtowed and recognized Zhao Qing as her godmother, and from then on, Peng Liyuan’s fortunes changed. Her godmother first helped Peng Liyuan enlist in the Nanjing Military Region Song and Dance Troupe. In 1982, she arranged for Peng Liyuan to appear on CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala, where she became an instant sensation with her performance of “I Love You, the Snow of the North.” In 1984, she arranged for her to study at the China Conservatory of Music.

These two passages are practically tailored to my standards. One mentions Zhou Enlai, and the other the Nanjing Military Region. Both are part of Xi Jinping’s faction. In other words, before meeting Xi Jinping, Peng Liyuan was already part of Xi Jinping’s faction. Peng Liyuan was promoted by Zhao Qing, the daughter of Zhou Enlai’s henchman Zhao Dan. That is to say, Peng Liyuan was originally a henchman of Zhou Enlai’s grand-disciple generation. Zhou Enlai was originally Stalin’s Soviet agent in China. Peng Liyuan was therefore also a Soviet spy.

As is well known, after the June Fourth Incident in 1989, Peng Liyuan went to comfort the perpetrators of the June Fourth Massacre. There were many people in the cultural troupe at the time, not just Peng Liyuan. It included Li Shuangjiang, Dong Wenhua, Yan Weiwen, Yu Junjian, Cheng Zhi, Mao Amin, and Meng Ge. Why didn’t everyone else go, and only Peng Liyuan went? That’s because Peng Liyuan volunteered to go.

This is from the People’s Daily, June 18, 1989, page 2 (Domestic News).

The headline is “Ministry of Health and State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Donate Medicine to Martial Law Troops.”

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, June 17, 1989: This morning, nearly 30 leaders and cadres from the Ministry of Health and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited and presented medicine to officers and soldiers of a certain unit of the martial law troops. Minister of Health Chen Minzhang and Vice Minister and Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hu Ximing conveyed the high respect of all staff on the health front to the People’s Liberation Army to the martial law troops.

This is the third commonality between Yu Wenming and Peng Liyuan: both Peng Liyuan and Yu Wenming’s political mentor, Hu Ximing, had visited and offered condolences to the perpetrators of the June Fourth Massacre. Hu Ximing was the first director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He died in 2015. A memorial article at the time stated that:

Wang Huazhang, former deputy director of the China Traditional Chinese Medicine News, still vividly remembers Hu Ximing’s support for the newspaper’s development. “He once said, ‘Running a newspaper is something our TCM community has always dreamed of,’ and ‘Publicity and public opinion work are more important than anything else.’ He also proposed to publicize the Party’s policies on TCM and to popularize TCM knowledge among the masses, especially the 800 million farmers.”

From August 1988 to November 1996, 25-year-old Yu Wenming served as a reporter and editor at the China Traditional Chinese Medicine News.

From November 1996 to December 1997, 33-year-old Yu Wenming served as deputy director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Liaison Department of the China Traditional Chinese Medicine News. This suggests that Yu Wenming was likely a close associate of Hu Ximing, the first director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Notice from the General Office of the State Council on Adjusting the Composition of the National Narcotics Control Leading Group (Guo Ban Fa [1993] No. 35)

To the People’s Governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and all ministries and commissions and directly affiliated institutions of the State Council:

Based on work needs and personnel changes, the State Council has decided to adjust the composition of the National Narcotics Control Leading Group. The adjusted list of personnel is hereby notified as follows:

Leader: Tao Siju (Minister of Public Security)

Deputy Leaders: Xi Dehua (Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council)

Bai Jingfu (Vice Minister of Public Security)

Hu Ximing (Vice Minister of Health)

Jin Tongzhen (Deputy Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine)

That is to say, after Hu Ximing ceased to serve as Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he continued to serve as Vice Minister of Health, still in charge of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, he remains the Deputy Leader of the National Narcotics Control Leading Group. We see that Liu Yuejin is also the Director of the Office of the China Narcotics Control Commission, and Bai Jingfu, but I’m not entirely sure about Bai Jingfu; it might not be Xi Jinping. It could be.

On June 22, 2025, Yu Wenming, former director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was investigated.

On June 23, 2025, Liu Yuejin was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve.

Both were officials in the anti-drug field. Although Yu Wenming was not explicitly identified as a member of the China Narcotics Control Commission, their professional connections were likely. The day after Yu Wenming’s arrest, Liu Yuejin was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve—was this a coincidence?

A Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council, Xi Dehua, appears here. I don’t know which faction Xi Dehua belongs to; it’s too far in the past.

Let’s look at this information.

From April 12 to 14, 1994, Zhu Rongji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, visited Daqing. Accompanying him on the inspection were Xi Dehua, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council; Guo Shuyan, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Commission; Ma Kai, Vice Chairman of the State Commission for Restructuring the Economic System; Han Zhubin, Minister of Railways; Wang Tao, General Manager of the China National Petroleum Corporation; Sheng Huaren, General Manager of the China Petrochemical Corporation; Zhu Yuli, General Manager of the China Aerospace Industry Corporation; Lu Renfa, Deputy Director of the State Administration of Taxation; Tu Yourui, Party Secretary and Vice President of the China Development Bank; Zhang Xiao, President of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China; Yang Huiqiu, Vice President of the Bank of China, and other leaders from relevant national ministries, commissions, and companies.

Whether Xi Dehua was Zhu Rongji’s chief secretary is uncertain. Further research is needed. So, Peng Liyuan and Zhu Rongji also had an affair. Where does it come from that Xi Jinping’s backer is Zhu Rongji? How can anyone be traced back to Zhu Rongji?

According to online claims, Luo Gan, the Secretary-General of the State Council who participated in the State Council’s decision-making on the Three Gorges Project, was a Soviet-educated individual. Zhou Enlai’s son, Li Peng, studied in the Soviet Union.

Zhou Enlai, Zhu Rongji, and Peng Liyuan were all Soviet spies.

Xi Jinping is Putin’s proxy in China.

Okay, thank you everyone.
